The Fashionista Diaries

She just looks so freakin' cute...and occasionally miserable :-)

Gansta Luv

Baby's First Christmas

It was amazing to have Kennedy here for her first Christmas! However, I don't think she was very impressed (see pictures below) :-) However, she is only 2 months old, so I don't expect her to really get what's going on.

Jane Fonda Meets Rainbow Brite

I can't believe she is 6 weeks old. Actually she's almost 7 weeks. She's growing and changing so fast!! This week, she's started to have actual tears! She's really working to hold her head up more and we're working on "tracking".

I have several pictures to add. I have to say, I think she is so stinkin' cute! Yes, those are leg warmers, and yes they are fabulous. :-) Also, as you look at the pictures, you will notice that I am a fan of taking her picture in her carseat. It looks like I just keep changing her clothes and putting her back in. Actually, it's just an easy way to get her picture because she usually likes being in it and it helps her sit up! :-)

On a side note, there was a clip of the actress/model Ali Landry on ET tonight. She was doing a photoshoot for the cover of modern bride. She had a baby 8 weeks ago. By next week, the only photo shoot I should be doing is the "before" pictures for any diet/clothes/hair makeover miracle advertisment. Trust me.
Sporting another fantastic creationg from Mimi

Do you notice that she often looks at me like I'm crazy?

How Cher & Bon Jovi save my sanity...

Miss K is going through a bit of a troublesome time at the moment. We are having lots of tummy troubles that leads to lots of fussiness and wiggliness. She acts like she's hungry and either doesn't eat anything or eats too much and then gets sick. She will fall asleep, until I lay her down....or when she's feeling very sneaky, she waits. She waits until I get back in my bed, get the dogs moved, covers & pillows fixed and just get comfortable. But I still love her. Amazingly enough, when she's screaming and crying my singing actually soothes her (This makes me want to get her ears checked when she's older) Anyway, the two songs that always quiet her down are Cher's If I could turn back time and Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive. I'm very grateful for them and am very sorry for anyone who is around while I'm singing them :-)

Quick update and lots of pictures

Kenna is getting so big!!! She's lifting her head up a lot. We are having some struggles lately with extreme fussiness and gas and not sleeping. This has been quite difficult while trying to finish up my papers for my grad classes. However, I'm learning to do lots of things with one hand so I can hold her with the other. (Type papers, do laundry, go to the bathroom, etc.) :-)

And, I'm getting very irritated with people acting like it's my fault because I've "spoiled" her. I have had two separate doctors tell me that you can't spoil a baby at her age and that letting her cry just leads to a fussier baby, etc. But every time I say something about her not sleeping unless she is being held, I get the same comments for many people. "Oh, you've created a monster for youself now." "I bet you're sorry you've spoiled her so much" Etc. People, she's 6 weeks old. I didn't realize it was so horrible for a 6 week old to be held and want to be held. Back off :-) Ok, so it wasn't such a quick update, so on to the pictures.

Someone, please save me.

Not too sure about this bath thing

I put the bow on , so she didn't look like a boy :-)
